Fernando de Zarraga MD, is a graduate of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He trained in internal medicine at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and hematology and medical oncology at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer center.
Dr de Zarraga has been practicing since 2004, the last 6 years in South Florida at the Miami Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health of South Florida, selected as one of the top 100 hospitals in the United States. Dr de Zarraga's practice specializes in the care of cancer patients with gastrointestinal and sarcoma malignancies. Dr de Zarraga's interests also include molecular profiling, targeted agents, collaborative approaches, and furthering individualized treatment plans. Dr de Zarraga is also affiliated with Florida International University and the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.
Dr de Zarraga is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology.
